In honor of Valentine's Day, who are some of your favorite book or movie couples?

My favorite couples in books in movies are characters from all my favorite love stories. In my opinion, the couples with the best love stories are as follows:
1. Some Kind of Wonderful. This movie was just on TV again the other day, and I never get sick of it. I'm always cheering for Watts the entire movie.
2. The Notebook. What girl wouldn't love Noah? It's such a simple story, but so good. It's also a great reminder of how important it is to follow our hearts.
3. The Princess and the Frog. I just saw this one with my three-year-old daughter, and was so pleased to see that it had great messages about true love. I don't want to give anything away about Tiana and Naveen so I'll just leave it at that.
4. Gone With the Wind. Scarlett and Rhett's story is filled with tragedy, mostly because Scarlett acts like an idiot. However, I've loved this movie and book since I was a kid.
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

I love couples who fall in love unexpectedly, either they hate each other at first or it ends up being some kind of forbidden romance. Two of my all-time favorite romantic comedies are While You Were Sleeping and Picture Perfect. I also really love the couples who start off as best friends=]

Whitney--The Princess and the Frog was great, wasn't it? and Some Kind of Wonderful is one of my favorites. Watts is such a complicated character. And I LOVE that plotline--girl helps boy get girl, and boy ends up falling for helper girl instead.

Analyn--While You Were Sleeping and Picture Perfect are two more of my favorites because they both have another wonderful plotline: FAKE BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND! Love it.
